The successor model is the Model4010LX.★ ● The world's smallest compact wavelength-variable diode laser moisture meter ● Explosion-proof class Class I, Div I, Group B, C, D ● Equipped with data logger and sampling system ● Measurement at PPM levels ● Measurement time is just under 2 seconds (90% response) ■ The Model4010BR is well-suited for moisture measurement under conditions requiring explosion-proof functionality, primarily in natural gas and petrochemical applications. Gas molecules such as saturated water vapor, oxygen, and hydrogen contained in process gas have the property of absorbing near-infrared light. The wavelength range at which gas molecules absorb near-infrared light varies by gas type, and by precisely measuring the wavelength range absorbed by saturated water vapor using TDLAS, it is possible to accurately measure the amount of saturated water vapor without being affected by other gas molecules.
